The ELP is aimed at rail operators and logistics companies across Europe. The range of services includes full-service leasing of modern locomotives. ELP full service leasing includes a comprehensive maintenance and insurance offer. The focus of the ELP is on six-axle dual locomotives with up to 2.8MW diesel, 9MW electric and 500kN traction. They enable operation on electrified and non-electrified lines. An ELP-Co’Co ‘locomotive replaces the double traction of Bo’Bo’ locomotives and thus offers significant logistical and economic advantages.
European Loc Pool was established in 2018. Its head office is located in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. With British Chair of the Board of Directors Haydn T. Abbott and Dutch CEO Willem Goosen at the helm, ELP has decades of experience and broad expertise in the European rolling stock leasing segment. ELP commenced its operating activities in 2019.
