Repairs and maintenance
ELP’s full service leasing also includes maintenance of the vehicles, which consists of both preventive and corrective maintenance including repairs, i.e. all the work necessary to ensure that the leased locomotives operate reliably and remain fully functional and deployable at all times.
Preventive maintenance or, in the event of a malfunction, corrective maintenance and repairs, are the key to minimising downtime. Scheduled maintenance work includes the following services:
- Coordinating warranty work with the manufacturer,
- Material management of spare parts, consumables and working materials,
- Ordering and storage of strategic spare parts,
- Managing the workshop,
- General inspections and overhauls.
The integrated maintenance package allows railway operators to devote themselves to their customers without having to worry about nuts and bolts. The ELP service is available for customers 365 days a year.
